The IRS and Federal Trade Commission have warned Americans about fake-check scams, phone scams and e-mail phishing scams involving the stimulus payments. Separately, Krebs on Security reports about potential vulnerabilities in a new IRS website that allows Americans who don’t normally file taxes to sign up for their stimulus payments.
