Merrill Lynch Headcount Ticks Up Despite BofA Cuts  

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has announced that its headcount edged higher in the third quarter in the face of job cuts at parent company Bank of America. So reports WealthManagement.com.

merrillMerrill counted 19,130 advisors at the end of the third quarter, up 31 from the previous quarter and 289 from a year earlier.

Meanwhile, Bank of America’s total headcount fell to 212,752, down from 215,546 three months earlier.
