JPMorgan has filed a trademark application for IndexGPT, a tool that will use “cloud computing software using artificial intelligence” for “analyzing and selecting securities tailored to customer needs,” according to the filing. So reports CNBC.
Trademark lawyer Josh Gerben told the news service that JPMorgan may be the first established financial player developing a retail product similar to OpenAI’s suddenly ubiquitous ChatGPT software.
JPMorgan declined to comment to CNBC on the matter.
