Study Paints Favorable View of Retirement Readiness

A recent study by the American Council of Life Insurers, the American Benefits Council, and the Investment Company Institute maintains that Americans’ retirement readiness has been improving over the past decades. So Reuters reports.

The study, called “Our Strong Retirement System: An American Success Story,” finds that Americans have higher inflation adjusted savings—including the value of traditional pensions—now than in 1985 and in 1975.
