Retirement Confidence Takes a Hit Due to COVID-19

A new survey from Principal shows that the COVID-19 pandemic has taken a heavy toll on the confidence of those saving for retirement and those already in retirement. So reports The Winston-Salem Journal

corona 4893276 640 smallIn 2020, just 11% of workers were confident they would have enough money to live comfortably as seniors. That’s a seven percentage point drop from the 18% that expressed such confidence last year. When it comes to those already in retirement, 33% are confident, a dramatic drop from the 40% last year.
