FINRA to Refile Recruitment Bonus Disclosure Rule

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has pulled the plug on a proposal that would require brokers to disclose recruitment bonuses. So reports Reuters.

But, the regulator expects to refile the rule for consideration later this year FINRA received 184 comment letters on the matter and didn’t believe it could address the communications within the required timeframe specified by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
