Ex-LPL FA Gets 15 Years in Prison Over $1.3M Fraud  

A former LPL Financial advisor has received a 15-year prison sentence following a June indictment for swindling more than $1.3 million from a client. So reports The DI Wire.

LPLThe sentence came as Patrick Thayer of Lebanon, Ohio, pleaded guilty to second-degree felony counts for fraud as an investment adviser representative, aggravated theft and identity fraud.

Thayer’s previous firms included Parkland Securities, Sagepoint Financial and H.D. Vest Investment Services, his BrokerCheck record shows.
