Raymond James to Pay More Than $12M Over 'Unreasonable' Fees  

Raymond James has agreed to pay more than $12 million to resolve a group of state regulators’ allegations that it charged “unreasonable commissions” in the last five years. So reports The Boston Globe.

Raymond JamesThe amount includes at least $8.2 million in refunds to customers, plus $4.2 million in penalties and costs.

Raymond James didn’t admit or deny wrongdoing as part of the settlement.
