Merrill COO Retires in Latest Management Departure

Merrill Lynch chief operating officer Kirstin Hill has shared her plans to retire in May, the latest high-ranking exit at the organization. So reports AdvisorHub.

merrillHill, who joined Merrill out of Harvard in 1999, will be replaced by Jeff Busconi through the newly formed role of head of Wealth Management Strategy, Products and Services, the company said in an internal memo.

Hill’s exit follows the resignation in March of Merrill president Andy Sieg, which also led to the delayed retirement of Don Plaus, head of its private wealth business.
