UBS Wealth Management broker Jonathan Bottema recently made his one-millionth cold call to a potential client. So reports Advisor Hub.
Jason Chandler, head of the UBS’ U.S. brokerage business, congratulated Bottema in a recent LinkedIn post, adding that the accomplishment is a “shining example of hard work and determination.”
However, some were skeptical of the claim, noting that Bottema would have had make in excess of 200 calls per workday, for more than 20 years, to hit the one million mark.
