Citi Wants Workers Back in the Office Starting March 21

Citigroup has asked vaccinated workers throughout the U.S. to begin returning to the office at least two days a week beginning March 21. So reports CNN.

coronavirus 4942077 640 smallIn a memo to employees, Sara Wechter, Citi’s HR head, said: “Although COVID-19 may never fully go away, we are seeing promising developments." The move is part of a shift in the country from a pandemic to endemic mindset—ie society learning to live with the virus.

In January, the firm said unvaccinated employees would be fired by the end of the month if they did not get vaccinated. At the end of January, the company said 99% of its employees were vaccinated.
