Topping the list is Dana Investment Advisors, which ranked 2nd last year and 3rd the year before. Salem Investment Counselors came in second after holding the top spot the last few years. NewSouth Capital Management came in third, unchanged from the prior year, while Check Capital Management jumped to fourth from 12th the prior year and 52nd two years ago. Richard C. Young and Co. ranked 5th, up from 10th the prior two years.
Rounding out the top 10 are Gofen & Glossberg, California Financial Advisors, North Star Asset Management, Heritage Investors Management and Tom Johnson Investment Management.
