Middle America can be viewed as an emerging market as many U.S. states are enjoying an energy and manufacturing renaissance.

That’s according to Charles Schwab’s Liz Ann Sonders, who discussed the matter during a Financial Planning Association New York chapter meeting. Forbes reported on Sonders’ comments.
