Widespread Anxiousness Among Affluent Investors: Study

A recent Schwab Advisory Services survey has found that affluent investors 30 to 45 years old are anxious and insecure about their future. So reports Financial Advisor.

The anxiousness stems, in part, from having lived through one of the nation’s longest recessions and other hardships, such as terrorists attacks,and the bursting of the housing and Dot.com bubbles, according to the report.

The age group, which represents approximately $3.5 trillion in investable assets, has a substantial portion of individuals who don’t understand the different types of advisors and don’t trust the profession.
