End of Bernanke’s Tenure May be Near

Recent remarks by Ben Bernanke may indicate that his tenure as Federal Reserve chairman may not be extended when his current term expires at the end of January, reports Bloomberg.

 

Bernanke recently said he has talked with the president about his future that he doesn’t feel obligated to stay in his position when the Fed eventually starts to decrease its stimulus policies.
